Hi,

I have a 1040STfm which I almost only use it for gamming. It's a great machine, even if you don't make any hacks to it.

If you want to make some "pixelish graphics", you may need a good Atari monitor... and Degas Elite :)

I'd say, if it's in the good price, go for it.
