Ha ha, whish I could bring all my Ataris!
I just donīt know anymore how many I have..
Bunches of st/f/m/fm/e in the attic (COLD in there!)
And 2x STE, a Falc, a MEGA4 and a "Atari pc1" in the hobby room...
plus a choosen collection of Atari 8-bit..
What should I do? - Open up a Atari museum, or just dump the lot?? :p
Havenīt touched any of them for ages anyway...

The signal on a st MOBO may not do for the mod,
it is something like 16.175MHZ I think,
may not be good enough for feeding the FDC..
Better use a separate 16MHZ OSC, to be sure.
Anyways, the mod is pretty easy to do, just
shug in the drive, the OSC & the switch, and go.
I have done it on numerous STEīs thru the past.. (lost count)
Only issue Iīve noticed, for some reason it takes
much longer time to read/write the same amount
of data, in HD mode than in DD mode.. - Donīt ask me why...
