when you say disk drives not responding - does the orange light near the drive light up when you turn on the st? if not and it's not the drive - i've got 3 here with the same probs!!!!! could be any number of things - like fdc chip - dma - yamaha - mmu - god i've just spent weeks looking at the ones i've got here! i thought you were looking for a decent st a while back? is this what you ended up with?!!
