Hi Chris!

Your best choice is ARAnyM. It can run, just like Falcon, in any color resolution. It has the VIDEL 'chip' implemented. Moreover you can use fVDI driver to access the host (Linux's) videoram directly. On my PII@400MHz it runs much faster (using the fVDI) than the F030@20MHz|FX I had. It has the 68040 CPU inside (this includes also the FPU).
However the fVDI driver is still in development. It works properly in 1, 16, 24 and 32 bit color depth only yet. But this will change.
