Yea, this is my entire fault; I should have realized who my audience was from the beginning. I live only 1 hour away from Sunnyvale, (Have actually been to the old Atari Headquarters). In my mind I was speaking to the American audience.
You know, the audience that knows that $700
Is NOT a lot of money.....
Seriously, I spend that much every month on food alone for my family; I have spent more than that on fireworks on the 4th of July!
HATE to tell you guys form overseas, but
Here in California, $700 is only 2-3 days
of an average I.T. workers salary!
Its pocket money to us.
The folks in Germany don’t seem to be so cheap, last August, when I sold
My 1400XL to a gentleman in Germany, He paid me $600 for the unit
alone, plus $137.85 for the shipping, plus $16 for the Western Union money
wire transfer fee AND another $18.00 for the German customs fee.
And he was all too happy to do so that’s because he REALIZED what he was being offered.
I am done with this thread.
