I imagine that would depend on what kind of Mac that you have. Anything older than the original iMac simply won't have the capability to connect to the Portfolio, as none of them carry serial or parallel connectors. Macs older than the original iMac have serial connectors, but differently shaped than your typical PC's serial connector. Unfortunately, I know of no software on the Mac that would allow you to communicate with the Portfolio.
