Funny Falcon finding story.
I had been looking for a Falcon right before the Holidays. Saw a few go by on Ebay, but let them pass because I was hoping to find a sweet deal.
Someone on Atariage.com was mentioning they were looking for a Falcon as their current one was broken during a moving mishap.
For the heck of it I did a search on froogle.google.com for "atari falcon" and to my suprise there was a hit.
It was a recycled computer place. And it was a sweet deal. They still have it listed online but obviously it is sold now!

$295 for a stock 4/80 Falcon with Cubase Score, a monochrome monitor, and an unpopulated Wizztronics memory board.
Not too shabby huh!
I told the guy on Atariage about it, and he picked it up and is Falcon computing again. I got a Falcon myself from someone which was barely used. It was a Falcon 16/85 with lots of other goodies.
I was amazed that the froogle search turned up a Falcon. Makes me wonder how long they had it sitting there waiting to be sold.
