Thanks for your answers and Steve also for the scsi information!
The cds are in very good condition.
Maybe it is something wrong with my terminator plug..?
My old cd doesnt have a jumper for termination(?) and with a newer drive, Matsushita CW-7502-B, i get the same result. (Terminator plug + jumper open= driver cant find the cd)
But it works fine with only the termination jumper closed, so this problem should be solved:-)
However, with this cd-rom i have the same problem as in my PC.
It cant read my floppyshop gold cd:s at all...
Mark: the old cdrom was a Media vision CDR-H93MV, i have TOS version 4.04, the previous owner had a different cdrom (unknown to me).
But my floppyshop cds did not come with the computer, so they havent been used with this system before.
Thanks BJ, the problem should be the cd:s then?
I begin to wonder, could it be that they are written on a Mac...
I thought that it isnt possible to read a mac cd in a PC, but maybe i am wrong?
Unfortunately, i have no mac to test the cds.
I also received this answer:
There is a posibility that they could be in the Hi-Sierra format which some drives, especially the newer ones, won't read.
But i dought this, i have tried several cd-rom-units, some real old...
