Ah ha, The media vision drives are really, really, really, crap. And that is understating it. Yes termination is needed. But these drives have a quirk. Every time you change the disk you need to re-boot the machine. I had 3 of these drives and they all did it. Also, if you have scsi problems ALL the time you may need to apply the timing patch circuit. Which is essentally a 74LS08 used as a clock buffer. The schematics are on my web page.
