Good news, the fact that you can see the drive under the SCSI tools utility means that the hardware is working correctly.
The problem is with your expectations. The PC partition and format that you created on that drive has nothing to do with the Falcon's reality and it will never see it.
You have to completely re-partition and reformat the drive on the Falcon.
Just a side note though. If you happen to be using a later version of MINT AND have a good Hard Disk Driver like HDDriver v8.1, you can create a special partition and formatting scheme that can cause a drive to be interchangeable between the Falcon and a PC. But like I said it accessable ONLY under MINT and with HDDRIVER.
And of course, the drive must be prepared on the Falcon first.
