There is no easy way to open those up, the easiest way I have found is to take a screwdriver or a good heavy knife right on the seam where it is glued together and just tap on the knife all of the way around the power supply till you finally get a spot to split then the screwdriver can work ok by inserting it into the spot that has opened up (putting pressure on the rest of the seam and the knife and tapping should split it the rest of the way apart.
