But really, the last thing you want to do is unsoldering SIMM modules. Even if it would be technically feasible to upgrade a ST this way, and you would know exactly what to do, it would still take at least double the amount of time you'd need to upgrade with a neat'n'tidy SIMM board or to install a regular chip upgrade. And I haven't even mentioned yet that you can probably earn enough money by working the same hours for your boss in overtime to buy a STE, a crate of beer and some flowers for the wife. ;-)
