You say your using AOL at the moment so i presume you also have a PC or MAC. You might want ot consider getting

a)a network card fro your STE (there are schematics on the web if you want to build one its not to hard basic soldering skills are required)

b)connect you STE via a null modem cable to you pc and use your pc as a gateway/router.

From memory AOL use a VPN connector as opposed to the usual Dial up connector for Internet access so i dont think out of the box it will work on your STE.

As for Atari Networks there was a program the came on an STFormat cover disk that used the midi ports for a network, in this instant you would setup one ste as a internet gateway for the rest (as long as Stik can send TCP/IP requests via that route).

I think there was also a program on the web called BNet (not 100% sure) that did a similar thing.
