I thought as much, since the US is just about the only one that has 120v 60cycle most other countries do run a form of 220 - 250v the voltage is what will vary from country to country and I think all run 50cycle, I know they do make converters to be able to adapt an entire system to run on your voltage, but that would mean that you would have to have the entire computer, disk drives & monitor/tv that is 60cycle. It would be easier to adapt a PC power supply to the atari an most of the PC power supplies are configure to run either 220v or 120v 50/60 cycle respecively.
Since all PC power supplies have a 12v DC + & - output as well as 5 volt DC + & - output and the Atari computer only needs the 5v dc output leg of the power supply and they are more than ample amperages the average 200watt at power supply give 20 amps on the 5v + side. I would strongly recommend if you do this to put in a 1 amp fuse inline for the safety of the computer since the Atari doesn't run any more than 1 amp of power normally and if it should all of a sudden start pulling more you want it to pop the fuse before it burns up the system (hopefully).
