Hi Marco,

Yes I actually got the power supply (the one with screws) to work by opening it up and re-touching the points with a soldering iron. The TV display was OK.

However, I opened up my other power supply (the sealed one), did the soldering iron touch-up but it didn't work. I noticed that the sealed one is covered in a wax-type material (I assume it's to reduce the heat or something like that). Oh well I got one of the three non-working power supplies to work so it's not too bad.
