Hi, I've just obtained the following upgrade OS for the Atari ST. I used to use Neo Desk 3. Can anyone give me a brief overview of why Neo Desk 4 is better (I have no manual) and can't find information on either V4 or the CLI Version 2.10 I managed to find in a jumble sale for £2.00 !

NeoDesk 4's great claim to fame (over NeoDesk 3) is that it fully understood multitasking and thus could be used with a multitasking kernel like Geneva. Now, there are a lot of things NeoDesk can do, but I don't know the version to which they were added. I'd suggest viewing Gribnif's page (http://www4.pair.com/gribnif/neodesk.htm) for more information. Dan Wilga doesn't really support his software anymore, but on rare occasions he will still make a post to CSAST.
