Hi Latex,I fully understand your transferring actions :) It does seem a lot to do just to write back from pc to st (games files) but if that is how it is to be done then so be it LOL
It sounds very similiar to how i transfer adf's for the amiga.
The null modem cable then the pc to amiga link software then transfer the adf to the amiga which is then stored in the ram on the amiga then using adf blitzer you drag the file from the ram to the adf blitzer icon and then it writes back to ds/dd disk on amiga side VOILA :)
So the st only lacks ram which i have to download and place on the st and the ghost program/null modem cable set up is rather crap and slow and had no good experiences with but i will try again :)
I thought there would have been an easier way like the disc swapping method but for the 820k files i have been formatting a ds/dd disk on the st with procopy but i don't know if i was formatting the disk to 82 tracks etc....
Oh well i will try the null modem connection again and take it from there :)
Ps Do you use your own method for writing back to st disks?????? and is it successfull?
