Jan Dalrup: OK but I don`t know where to start. I will try. (All the things you mention are also possible off course (Not for nothing Aminet is the largest library of Share-/Freeware for all systems!)
Classic Amigas are able to display multiple resolution on one screen. That means for instance that you can work in a 1600x1200 resolution and start a game in 320x256 resolution without shrinking it to an icon size.
Take a look at his screenshot showing the mac emulator Fusion, Frodo c64 emu etc. (Note the resolutions)
Another great thing is to be able(DOpus)to create your own window gadgets and associate them with files/actions. The options while associating files/actions have to be seen before anyone will fully understand it.
The Background/pattern you can use aren`t only limited to the desktop and opened windows but button, sliders backgrounds etc can also be altered.
