Hmm ...
I hate to sound negative, but all that reminds me of the Multiboard by Hayer & Neumann.
Also i doubt that there's much interest because hardly anybody has interest in tuning a simple ST - especially not to a state as modest (read: realistic)
as you describe it.
If you can organize this project in a way that you mainly do it for yourself and simply sell to those interested, i'd say go for it.
But if you depend on some kind of customer basis and on external support - Skip it, it won't work out.
