The IDE controller would be a definte bonus. I still wonder what the hell Atari were thinking of when they didn't just go with an everyday IDE or SCSI interface.
As for expansion ports, certainlly something allowing an NIC would be good, although the problem is having only one of these.
Having an ehternet card suggest sosmoen is going to be using a high speed internet connection, which with the ST's standard graphics modes, isn't much fun, even using software trickery to get 512 colour displays the resolution still sucks, so somethign that could handle both a graphics upgrade AND a NIC would be ideal, though hte standard ST/Falcon case IS a little tight on space.
