1. Yes, just shove the card into the VME slot, no need to jumper anything.
2. You will need 4 progrqams to go into the auto folder in the following order:
a. EMULATOR.PRG
b. EMULATOR.BIB
c. STA_VDI.PRG
d. STA_VDI.PRG
Now this card should work with many monitors - But the "BIB" files contain the actual monitor resoultions. Many will not work with a particular monitor. There should also be an editing program that comes with the disk that will allow you to create your own BIB files.
When the auto program runs a dialogue comes up with a number of choices:
a. VGA-Auflosung festlegen - This option allows you to choose the resolution that you wish to use for the session
b. Auggabeart festleggen - This option allows the choice of VGA with or withour GDOS or Atari resolutions with or without GDOS - Since all these comment I'm making are from my memory - I forget what this all means - Mine is set of VGA with GDOS - I use NVDI so I guess that replaces GDOS
c. Tastenkombination andern - This allows the key combination to either bypass the entire dialogue if you so choose. SO when this dialogue comes up, unless I wish to access parts of it I just tap escape and the boot process continues.
d. GDOS-Namen andern - What is the name of the program you're using for GDOS - In my case NVDI
e. Einstellungen sichern - Save the parameters just selected above or not
f. Ende - End
Sorry I don't have the actual documentation. If I recall you have the latest software.
