Usually, i used SCSI Tools from Hard & Soft. Anyway, how did you partition the harddisk ? And is your AHDI saying something about "initializing" the harddisk ? Or something similar ? This should be doing the low-level formatting. Otherwise, i am running out of ideas. Maybe this is an unlikely, but still possible hardware-defect ? The Paranoid
