Hi,

Normally it should work without any problems. I used the old atari drivers for a long time with a 2 GB harddisk and never had problems.

When I was upgrading to hddriver, first problem was, that it couldnīt find my boot partition and I needed to reformat.

I would suggest that you leave the harddisk inside your falcon, boot with the disk, where the atari drivers are on and ahdi.prg in the auto folder on the disk. Then it sould find the harddrive and you can start hdx.

Format the drive (what can take a while, because ahdi is very slow ;-)) and then partition it. I would suggest you use at least two partitions and make your boot partition relatively small... 100 MB for example.

Then click on "install driver" and reboot...

Now it should work!

Cheers,

Chris
