A great solution I was given by Uwe Seimet (HD Driver) was to connnect an external SCSI drive between the PC and Falcon. Found a PC SCSI card on ebay for $15, and used this method for a long time until I moved the Falcon to another room.
Another great method was Ghostlink, available from many Atari FTP, but it's may be slower being a serial implementation, I believe.
Last posts I saw on comp.sys.atari.st said parallel zip on Atari not possible due to missing signal lines in Atari parallel implementation.
