Wow. The walkthrough was helpful. I had tried these very things a few times with the same situation. I had copied hddriver by hand earlier , but no go. Everything was going ok, but when I'd try to "install HDDriver", there were no options of where to install it to, so I could not. Then again my C,D, and E drives worked otherwise.
So I erased everything, ditched BigDos when I realized I didn't need it. Initialized all three partitions, added icons. Still could not open the drives to use them. But then I rebooted and tried to install again, and it worked! I saved the desktop and now everything works perfectly! Maybe I was doing things out of sequence before, or it would not install because of how I had set drive C. But it works now, and I am psyched.
Thanks much for the help!
What is "CSAST"? Please do tell me about it, I've found no info yet!
