I've heard of it! I really doubt if I will need a CD writer on my Atari unless I decide to do a lot of audio editing on it, which is not likely. I will keep in mind though if I need it later.
My needs are very basic, I just want to be able to mount a disk of ISO9660 files and copy them to my drive! I appreciate that work goes into making this possible, but I cannot afford to pay for such a simple function on a computer. I have little money, and mounting a CD so that I can see it is something I will just need to cobble together somehow.
