When you say midi expander, I assume you are talking about at least 1 more midi in and out. There are devices about, keychange probably has them in stock but dealing with Barrie is like swimming through treacle - hard going.
I am after a mini macman myself, plugs into the falcons lan (read serial) port, and cubase comes with the drivers for it, though they arnt bullet proof. I had chance to get a midi macman (not mini) last week off ebay, but I am not sure it works with the falcon.
The other device you can look for is a MO44, which I think is (was) made by soundpool.
