Right, that's what I meant! Since I've seen MROS in the menus of VST, I suspect that code has still been part of VST.
I also had someone suggest to me that they (Steinberg-the company) may consider it to be in their interests not to provide a future for Atari users as an encouragement to "move on" to their more recent PC/Mac products. That's understandable, but at this point I'd say that anyone still using an Atari is a diehard, and won't be, or already has been, persuaded to get the new stuff.
Who knows, maybe now that they are owned by Pinnacle, who "likely does not know what they are or how they work," maybe they will feel differently about it. I'd gladly join any effort to approach them about the "old code!"
