Well, I am now trouble shooting what is different, and why the Get IP command appears ineffective.
I have a TT, Falcon, Two Mega Stes, About five Mega ST 2 and 4s, lots of 1040ST, e, F, fm, and lots of 520 STs.
I was just using a 520ST with 2.5 meg for the internet for the longest time, then picked up the Falcon for prettier looking graphics.
So, I am still using my STs/TTs as I know my way around with them, better than with XP.
However, I am coming to grips with XP and it seems nice enough after a week of frustrations for little things. But it is pretty slick.
I am trying emualtion for the first time as well.
I like doing work on the ST/TT and my Falcon needs a powersupply, (Spilt coffee).
I think about unloading this stuff, but right now my 21 in monitor has two inputs that allow the TT and PC to use it without disconnecting. Kinda like an internal monitor master:-).
Well, thats a start, and I could go on, but Late last year, I put up a post asking for some help in figuring what might have happened to my connection, and I had no answers, which made me think perhaps, I was the only one using Ataris for the internet.
One thing that is nice, is that I can now go to certain web sites like Rueters that use JHTML.
