You can "zero" the partion with HDX and you can "init" the partion with HDDriver. Both do the same thing. This is not a format but simply a clean sweep of one partion. For CD-Rom's you need a CD-Rom driver, I warmly recomend SPiN.
And by the way, it is "SCSI" not "Scuzzy".
