basically - you need to swap pins 1 and 4 on the 9 pin plug (how it's moulded? - swap the wires inside the mouse) - swap pin 1 on the amiga to pin 4 on the atari - pin 4 on the atari to pin 1 on the amiga mouse - usually that's all that's needed - see amigas do have their uses! ;0)
