"on spot" - and won't do anything else either.
*It will make a difference. You cant use the ST's cpu time for doing all the control, enumeration and transactions. Not if you still want an ST thats usuable with GEM afterwards.
I know about the EtherNAT, but like i said, i consider this a more general approach.
