Actually, i don't plan to use the ST's CPU time to do it
all. The ST will, as far as possible, only receive the
data or supply the data, communicating with the
8-bit microcontroller in a customized protocol.
The little 8-bitter on the other hand wouldn't have
been given a USB 1.1 compatible interface if it had
no chance of coping with it.
I have honestly no idea whether this will work out
or not. But i'd give it a try if i had some support
hardware-wise.
