The only fix for the problem you are describing is to desolder the switch off of the motherboard and replace it with a new one, or put in a toggle switch inline on the power supply the side with the white line on it, that is the positive side of the power, of course that isn't going to look to pretty but it will do the same thing as the power switch inside the computer.
