My first Falcon had no internal drive, and I was NEVER able to boot from my external Fujitsu drive using ADHI - ICD SCSI tools were the only solution. However, years later I bought a used Conner drive which booted with ADHI on the first try. Maybe some hard drives don't agree with ADHI?
