Yes, they do allow for booting off the HD... it was booting off of it when I got the machine and now I can't get it to boot for all the RAM in the world! <grin> But, seriously, I am formatting a different hard drive (240 meg Quantum) as I am typing and just got HD Driver 7.71 and will try installing that to try and boot... we will see what happens, it didn't help on the 105 meg drive...
