Hi Lars,I used to have the xcontrol on disk downloaded from the net and when i booted it up i could then look for a program within xcontrol and once i opened it i then had a control panel. Then i could open the control panel and change the serial port settings.I am using a 520ste 4mb i have not attached any hard drives yet.Does anyone know of a control panel on disk that i can download? Once i have this then the control panel option appears on the desktop. Was there a startup disk that came with st's back in the days?? like the amiga with workbench disks. There must have been something that people had to change serial settings etc..otherwise the st desktop is very boring and useless? Please can someone help me:(
