Yes Scott the link works, thanks for posting that. Proves that sometime off topic stuff does come in useful. Come to think of it I still have a couple old mac's (macintos plus and an LC) that I've still got on my repair "getaroundtoit" list. One odd thing I've noticed is the LC (020cpu & 10megs ram) with system 7.1 is actually a fair bit slower than my 16mhz STe (68k 4megs) and has less free ram when its booted up and operating. Gets me thinking what David Small said about the mac os is certainly true.
