I feel I have to reply to Anders Posting.
1. I am not a commercial company and cannot compete anywhere near on there prices.
2. When I first designed the adapter I also thought that it would be cheep to make, but if anybody can make small quantities at a better price than I quoted then feel free to try. Unless You’re buying the components at 25 or 100 Plus quantities then You normally pay a bit extra for them. (So far I've had 4 enquiries about it.)
3. The price I quoted was with a professionally made PCB housed in a small case. If you’re like me then you probably already have an extension cable or port saver.
4. My price included postage and packing to anywhere in Europe. Does your friends price include that?
5. I released the design of the adapter as free for personal use. Somebody else making quantities of the adapter available without at least asking me if it's OK saddens me somewhat.
