Why explain things so negatively?
Looking at your 1st announcement and website, I don't see a price anywhere. If people want you to build one of these units for them, they have to email you for a price quote. On the other hand, you release the design as "free for personal use".
In my eyes, this clearly indicates you're way more interested in designing these things than in building and selling them. That's great, we could definitely use more designs like this one! But it also leaves the user with a problem.
Because if I'd want a converter like yours, I'd try to make it myself, or I'd try to find a local friend who can do it for me, before I would email you. I guess it was similar for Anders. If we can help ourselves, why waste your valuable design time? Well apparently we should have wasted your time after all, because now you are here complaining about what we have done... :/
Think about it, nobody is trying to rip you off here. Quite the contrary actually!
