My answers:

2. TOS 2.06 would be a nice optional add-on
3. I'd give it a try to install a socket over my CPU. It doesn't look that hard.
4. I'd prefer external connected to the ACSI port, but since IDE is an internal standard, I guess internal is the only choice.

8. I'd pay US$75 for the interface only and US$120 with TOS 2.06. I'm staying in line with the prices that Mario Becroft and The Upgrade Shop charged for their interfaces.
9. Only if I'm using 2 drives. It's too bad AHDI only supports 1 IDE drive. :-(
