I used to have an LS120... I bought it especially for the ST for when that got an IDE adapter, and by the time it did, the LS120 was dead! - Well, it worked, but badly.
On the other hand, I use ZIP Drives on all my Atari and PC Machines and they are all still going strong!
Only issue I have, is that the IDE ones are 250 and the SCSI ones are all 100 and the 100 Disks are hellishly slow compared to the 250's
The blue case you are referring to, is for the external Drives... Mine are all internal 3.5" Jobs, and they look like normal Floppies at first glance!
As for using an LS120, they are IDE yes, but they can be used as normal Floppy drives ( A: or B: ) and they are 100% backwards compatible with SS/SD/HD/ED Floppies, so I doubt that you will have any real problems?
The only problem would be I suppose is whether the EMU software you are using will see it?
