If you mean the LAN-port on the back of the Falcon then it won't work with ethernet. It's basically a serial port that uses some Mac-standard.

A cartridge port solution, or that USB/Ethernet expansion card for the Falcon is two solutions. I have a SCSI Ethernet adapter myself, but I'm having trouble with HDDriver 8.x
