coz im a newbie in atari i can tell only what i've heard. i talked a musician who used atari for music and he told me he was unable to do harddiskrecording with the builtin ide cont. and ide hd, he told me i must to buy a scsi hd... but if you can do hdrec with ide im happy to hear that!!!
i've bought the scsi hd with the external house. the hd was formatted on an amiga.
do i have to format the disk on the atari too? (i think the answer is yes, coz the hd has amiga ffilesystem right now....) the cable of course is not what i need, so i have to look for the right cable (that scsi-II, sun style cable what i can plugged into the falcon). will it be really so expensive? damn... what is the exact definition to that cable (or the scsi port of the falcon)? coz i have to look for it in common pc stores where the guys havent heard about "atari" or anything else like that.
what means "falcon is clockpatched?"
your 10gigz ide has how many partitions on it? which driver do you use for it?
