Some Falcons have a problem with scsi... if you do harddiskrecording you hear clicks and scratches at playback.
Newer Falcon were clockpatched (itīs a timing problem, thatīs why itīs socalled) by Atari theirselves, but old ones need to solder this small patch in.
My 10 GIG drive has 4 Partitions: TOS (boot): 1 GIG, ext2 for MiNT: 2 GIG, LINUX 68K: 2 GIG and Data with 5 GIG, were I hdd-record to.
I use HDDRIVER 8.13 from Uwe Seimet.
I canīt remember exactly how the scsi-2 cable is called... if you know a mac dealer, like gravis, they sure can help you out, itīs a common cable for apple macs.
Cheers,
mac
