In most cases with an acclerated Falcon, the blitter will slow-down or make other troubles (it doesn't like overclocking very much, and it can't read/write data from/to fastram).

As Green said, with NVDI the blitter routines can be disabled, but not with the TOS built-in VDI, hence NVDI is a _must_ on accelerated machines.
