As far as i can remember, the FIND/RESPONSE is not
needed for PAP, so make sure you have set all the
parameters to PPP/PAP and not SLIP.
Also, i recall that providers tend to use PAP/CHAP
synonymously but effectively use CHAP.
Personally, i have had good experiences with Yello,
Tiscali and Arcor. If you like, you can send me your
STIK-config-file and your dialscript and i can see
how much i remember. ;-)
