Now the impossible wrinkle in my plan shows itself...a Miniscribe drive exactly like the one that's dead is $279.00 US!! In fact, all of the old drives that work in the case with that driver are rediculously expensive.
Ouch. Now I'm in search of plan "B"
Maybe I'll get one of those reconditioned Megafiles from B&C computervisons for $100.
