Sorry Roop, its buggered. If it is doing the old kachang, kachang repeatidly, it is usually stuffed. Sometimes giving the unit a reasonable whack, will get the motor to spin it up properly. I think it is a calibration error, or seek error from memory. Toshie's don't do it much but old WD and Maxtor drives do it alot.
