Well I sat trying to adjust the head on the original drive for a few hours, with variying degrees of success. The best I could do was open the window with no files or folders, and try to format the drive, which got maybe 1 percent done.
I'll see about modifying a low density drive here.
The PC drive I used would not even spin up.
I followed these insructions.
